Hello everyone!
I'm new here. I'm a 25 year old guy, editor of a retro cars magazine in Hungary, and my name is Imi Bíró.
I would like to show you my really rare Standard Bug from 1966. It was the cheapest model in that time, without chrome trims, 6 Volts electric system, 1200cc engine, three spoke steering wheel, one horn grill, etc.
It was restored to its original condition few years ago, repainted to its original Sea Blue color. The interior is still original, the carpets are like new.
I put a 10cm (2") narowed and lowered front beam, with dropped spindles, and I lowered the back too. No airride, and I think this is its lower position to ride. It's a half-daily-driver wich means that I like to ride with it when the weather is good, but in winter and in rain it keeps in the garage.
I hope you'll like it!
