      • Castro showed up in force. It was a great show. I'd like to see it bigger if they do it again.

YES. I don't mind the 3 hour drive to go there.

Laid back atmosphere with nice cars and around great people.

            • Yeah those Rotiforms on the Audi Avant were nuts. That e30 vert was sooo nice. Castro definitely had the BMW game going on, however I couldn't help but feel some of their cars were just thrown together and kind of half assed, but I could be wrong. They had some sweet ass BMWs

                      Well it's a performance shop, not a body/paint/wheel shop.
Did you get a chance to see the car's with their hoods open and the attention to detail?
There are so many things done to each car performance wise that is just hidden internally as well which is kind of a pain since it can't be presented.

They are actually going to be doing some fab work for Mike soon too.

Unfortunately some of our cars didn't get enough time put into them before the show to come with "finished products." As stated by others, we're a mechanical maintenance and performance shop. Therefore, aesthetics, primarily body and paint are not addressed on some of ours'/ our customer's cars.

That being said, none of our work is half ass, far from that as a matter of fact. We pride ourselves in attention to detail, and many of our customers and followers can attest to that.

While some of them may not be considered "show" cars, I worked out a deal with Mike and Andrew to get them all in. To be honest the turnout for the show was pretty small in comparison to most SoCal events, and had we not been there, that would've been 19 cars missing from the show.

Our personal cars get the least amount of attention and often take the longest to get finished. We're a rapidly growing shop, that's currently short on help and space. Chris Castro and the crew have done their best to prioritize work/projects, while still leaving some time for our own cars. I guarantee everyone, that by the end of 2012, none of our cars will look unfinished.

                        • I'm glad you guys brought so many cars out. The show was a little small considering how many people are in the SoCal and NorCal area. I drove 4 hours to get there and loved it.

I totally hear you man, that's why I said I might be wrong. I had no idea what kind of shop you guys were so I was just basing that statement off first impression. To be honest, you guys had my favorite cars there (especially the black e34 touring) and I wasn't trying to bash the company in any way. I just personally pay more attention to body work/aesthetics compared to performance/engine stuff so I'm biased. Hats off to you guys for bringing so many cars out and making such a huge contribution to the show and I wish you guys the best for your company. I hope no offense was taken

                              • Thanks to everyone who came out! We had a great time and everything couldn't have gone better. We're already excited for next year.

Personally, I think the turnout was great given it's a first-time event on the same weekend as AutoCon and FD: Seattle, and if you wanted to come it was a 3-4 hour drive at minimum. We've learned most Cali guys don't like driving that far

But the cars were great, the fairway was filled nicely, and we're certain next year will be even better

For us, this event was exactly what we hoped. Almost everyone met everyone else, and the vibes of the show as a whole couldn't have been better. Slowly but surely we're bringing the East coast show mentality to this side of the country.
