  • Tire Lettering

What do you guys think of tire lettering? I was thinking of doing it on my car for shits.

Most of these are race cars but feel free to post your own if you have any cool ones...

A picture of your car might help...

I did mine recently with a yellow pen, looks great I think but doesn't last long as mine is scrubbed/rubbed off a little on the rear.

On the Right car, It looks cool on a square sidewall. But if ur running stretched tires it would look kinda retarded. RWB pulls it off well because of the overall theme of his cars.

            Your car, chill..

Yeah I really am on the edge of it. I photoshopped a picture of my car with the letters on. Not sure if it looks completely stupid or pretty cool.

I also apologize lacking pictures of my car. I ment to post one.

I think the paint will come off with some paint thinner anyway, so maybe Ill rock it for a month and if it looks bad I will take it off. But any input is awesome.

              Thanks.

Might work on that car. Overall though I really really hope this doesn't become a fad. It's not easy to pull off

I was thinking about doing this as well. However I don't like the look of just coloring in the lettering on the tire. The font in too small, it looks better when larger lettering is used, which would require a custom stencil of some type. You would probably need a decent size sidewall to pull it off correctly.

I agree, although filling it in is neater (as above) , a stencil would look better and be easier too.

Input is good, that gt40 pulls it off.

I would if my car could pull it off, but that mini looks cool do it!

Looks cool on some cases.. like RWB Porsches..
