  • E30 + Euro Bumpers

Finally got the euro rear mounted, was too eager to shoot some pics, so I didn't even wash the car. Sorry about that

Still need to shorten the shocks, new tires are coming in next week to get rid of the balloons. Also need to figure out what to do with that pesky battery tray..

Pics have not been edited at all, any feedback I'd appreciate, I'm working on improving my photography (slowly).

    Pics:

    Thanks for looking!

It took a little hunting to find the "dimples" to drill out, but really was pretty straightforward. If you're in Europe, find some there and ship them back, they're damn near impossible to find in good shape in the states.

There's a little, yeah, but being 25+ years old it's doing alright I'd say. That battery tray makes me a little mad, and the dent over the tail isn't really fixable without sheet metal work. Oh well, it may become a track car once the E36 is finished anyways.

Id say youre doing alright too. I got a rust spot there too, but worse. Good thing i have a cabrio in which they put my battery under the hood.
Mine would have probably fallen through if it were back there

Hah, I'm working on a solution, but about the only one I can think of is hacking the "valence" off the back of one in a yard and cut/weld. Dunno if it's worth all the trouble or not lol.

So far the battery stays put

What springs are you running in these photos?

I have some no-name coil sleeves in it. Pretty sure it's a 4" spring, but I'm not sure on the spring rate. Probably switching to swifts when I shorten my struts.

Ugh I think you guys classify it differently over there

I'm after how much drop the spring provides over stock height, i.e. the stock Mtech springs in the iS are -15mm

Nothing wrong with a little rust. I bought my E30 in the state of CA and it had more rust than my 1951 Chevy. Crazy...

I wouldn't be able to give an accurate measurement honestly. I haven't kept track. I had stock springs for MAYBE a week after I got the car, never bothered to take a measurement. Sorry
