  • Nissan Announce Juke-Rs avalible by order

You can thank the very wealthy elite of Dubai for the following bit of Good News: the Nissan Juke-R will see a very limited production run.

That's right, that little Juke concept with a big GT-R engine literally stuffed inside has been causing the right kind of attention, and Nissan has today announced it intends to build more Juke-Rs upon request.

Nissan has received three firm orders for brand-new Juke-Rs, two of them coming from a "high-profile and well-respected member of Dubai society". And while the original concept was based on the 2010 model GT-R running gear (478bhp), the production cars will pack the engine and drivetrain from the 2012 GT-R.

    That means 545bhp.

"With such a strong reaction and with three genuine offers on the table," says Nissan's Gareth Dunsmore, "we decided we had to make the car a reality. The reaction we had to the car in Dubai was amazing. People were making offers on the street."

We can vouch for this - when we sent Ollie Marriage out to Dubai in one of the Juke-R concepts to race some young pups in supercars, he was offered a seven figure sum on the spot. And the figure didn't even start with one. Or two.

I don't care how ugly it is, I would rock the shit out of that!

Actually, the Juke isn't that bad looking overall; those stupid headlights on top of the fenders are what really ruin the car. If I had one, I'd do some metal work to lose the headlights and then move them to where the fog lights are. Why Nissan didn't do that, we may never know...

woah are you serious? at least a company finally builds a concept car that they'll actually sell to people so we may actually see one on the street.

Only issue with that is its probably gonna cost more than a Premium or Black Edition GT-R AND is most likely only going to be offered overseas. I'm a Nissan salesman, and I'll tell ya I'd LOVE to get my hands on one of these. But the looks are still love it or **** it...

Could have sworn that I heard the official price would be around 600k.
              Yep found it
Nissan initially said they wouldn't divulge the price of the Nissan Juke R set to go into limited production this year, but a source tells us around $600,000 is the sweet spot for most markets. That's roughly the equivalent of 30 base Juke Rs.

I really like how the Juke looks standard, this is a beast though. Would love a go in one.
