  • She went down on me....

So I recently decided to get some coilovers for my E46 M3, I dropped it about 1.5" in the front and around 1.3" in the back with 15mm spacers up front and 12mm spacers out back. It's the first car I've ever done this to and I'm pretty happy with the outcome, I'm running stock 18's for now until I can figure out which wheels I want. Let me know what you guys think.

looks good, 13.5 front and 13 rear is optimal for these cars handling wise

thanks for all the complements guys, like I said, for my first time doing this, I'm pretty happy with the outcome, I'm looking to go with a CSL trunk this summer and I would love to get some new shoes for her, but I'm not 100% sold on any particular wheel yet. Any suggestions as to what wheels I should go with? I've considered many wheels, each a different style and can't quite pick one yet.

I may feel stupid after hearing the answer, but what are those numbers in reference to?

Def should have gone with bigger spacers.
Looking forward to new wheels though!
                      Best be wide as hell

Just buy any set you seem to have an interest in and run with them, they'll either grow on you or you'll trade/sell them. Always fun.

I did the ST coilovers, and I think I'm just about dropped all the way down without taking out the stops....which might be a possibility

As for wheels, I was looking at VMR 710's, BBS LM's, I really wanted to do something like a set of Kinesis, but I've been really considering the Rotiform cast mono MIA. I need to really do some serious thinking about these wheel choices.
