  • 1972 Bavaria kissing the pavement

Hey SW, long-time lurker here finally with something to show.

If you missed it, here's my build thread: LINK

    The car's a 1972 BMW Bavaria (E3), with a Metric Mechanics 3.7 stroker & 5-spd conversion.

Wheels are 16x8 et0 Enkei 92's and were bought from a member here.

I purchased a universal AirLift setup from Bag Riders in January and with a friend, put the kit together in three days, finishing this past Monday.

The car lays out on the front subframe, but the car lacks a front valence (comparable to Burrough's E9) so that's why it doesn't "look" like it's laying out.

I couldn't be happier and can't wait for the show season to open up.

Let me know what you guys think

Here's my conservative, everyday ride height

Gahh. I'm completely in love. I wish my little 2002 was sitting this low. The stock hight from the 70's is killing me!

                    Exactly this.

I wish I could source such a clean vintage on the east coast.

So nostalgic, I used to ride dirty around town in one of these as a tot.
