In talking to my father about a V8 Miata project, we realized that we already have a tiny little car with a V8 shoved in it.


This is a oval dirt track racecar from the 1930s that my father restored. It isn't a full restoration, but it is dramatically better than the state he purchased it in... It was full of shotgun holes... Anyway, it's a narrowed Model T frame and a V8-60 flathead Ford motor. It's direct drive, so the joke is that it has two gears, in gear and out of gear. I've never driven it myself, but my father has taken it around Williams Grove a couple times.

I can take more pictures once he gets it out for the season.
He has lots of other interesting cars too...
