  • UConn Car Show, a couple pictures

Just a few pictures I took today at the UConn car show, personally I thought the turn out was a little lame compared to the previous years...a bit of quantity over quality going on..

here are a few cars I thought were worth taking a picture of, there were a few more, just didn't get to them though -

    enjoy

I live 2 miles off campus, and I just didn't feel the need to go. I would have gone if any of my cars were ready, but that accident really set me back...

I figured the good one's would make it onto here though!

haha honestly it was kinda lame...there was 1, ONE, porsche...not a single GTR..I was a little disappointed...buncha civics..civics on civics on civics.

I didnt see it man!! I only had my camera out for about 20 minutes at the beginning, and during awards..got bored pretty quick otherwise.

I arrived and left early, not like I should have even shown my car. But I saw two 930 targas... one red, one black. And enough civics to send me to the walk in. And it's like you got pics of the only clean one there.

I have to disagree with roof_rack. Yes, there were a lot of civics and other cars that weren't looking so nice, but there was plenty of variety and some really nice clean rides.

Who goes to a car show and bases it off of how many GTRs or Porsches attend? IMO, that's lame.

My friends were already taking pics, so I didn't take any, but there were some nice rides. Some nice clean american muscle cars. Some nice trucks. Subies, S2Ks, BMWs, etc.

Tell me the last time you've seen TWO Lotus Esprits at a show? (that was non-lotus specific)
Or how about whens the last time you saw a Bricklin SV-1? Or a RHD Ford Falcon Interceptor?

There were plenty of cars "worthy" of pictures.

The fitment on that FG2 is pretty insane.

Agreed... I know I'm probably going to get flamed but I was the one there with the 350ZR on upverted equips with the red top and red work lugs heres a snap from the show. I'm sitting on 18x9.5 +12 and 18x10.5 +5 right now thinking about doing 5mm spacers up front and either 5mm or 10mm spacers rear what do you guys think?

i thought your car was awesome, i've always been a fan of the drop top 350zs and wish more people did them up. your red top really sets it apart and looks great. the only thing i didn't understand was why half the people left by 1 that were showing, i got there at 11:30 and left at 1:30 and there were half as many cars there when i left then when i got there, i've never seen that happen at a car show and hope it isn't something that catches on cause i'm not an early morning person so if i'm not showing i don't get to shows really early.
