Haha my front bumper is so ugly without the lip the only thing I would consider is getting the sport bumper up front but eh i'm really feelin the look right now kinda more luxury than sporty, as for the fronts I cant go any lower... bumpstop is fully removed and shocks have about 1/4 inch travel also couldnt cut the spring any shorter or it would fall out of the perch ( its a mcpherson set up up front)
I just got the updated bumper on my 01 w203 - It looks great imo - especially w/ the lower grill blacked out.
I have roughly the same front ride height as you do, but I probably have another inch and a half while keeping the helpers in. I could go down w/ my tein basics. What suspension are you on? Tires?

Currently just on stock struts, the bump stops are fully removed with with cut H&R springs, ride isn't too bouncy or anything and the rear still has a lot of travel, tried looking into coils that would be able to go low enough but haven't really found much. Running a 215/35 up front
^^^ I disagree. I think the front bumper looks pretty good without the lip (especially when the lip is as torn up as it is right now).
Personalyl, I'd raise the rear a little more for now until you can solve your problem with going lower in the front.
I still really like this car a lot. However, I'm glad I bought my Passat instead of one of these now that I see how hard it is to lower these things!
Thanks mate, going to try and repair the lip pretty soon if that fails then i'm pretty sure ill be getting a sport bumper. And yeah the fronts are really a pain but I think more than anything its the way they designed the fenders.... even as it sits right now it is actually slightly raked to the front, the rear fender just sits inches lower than the front fender, but frame wise / side skirt wise its pretty even front to rear
Great jobs on the lips. And normally when I see Luxowagons, they're across the pond. Kudos on being in America...I guess...I mean...I'm not really sure if that was like a totally YOU thing or whatever, but good job nonetheless.
