Well, since its a build I could put it in the build section, but since its closer to a showroom, I'm putting it here.
As some of you may know I recently moved in to my own place (with a couple of roomies). With the house came a two-car garage with an attached car-port, which of course I laid claim to.
There's a lot in the works so I figured I'd update this thread as I make progress transforming it from a shack to a "work shop".
I don't have any pics of before I moved in, but it was full of junk. Now it's empty. Heres Update #1-
Update #1: Let there be Light!
So after getting settled, I knew there was going to be one primary problem....
It's dark as hell!

So I went with BimmerTeck's suggestion of 4 lights (48" T12 Fixtures) and installed them. I went with a temporary ghetto wiring setup until I get another switch and box wired in. Anywho, simply enough, now I can actually see what I'm doing!

I had initially purchased the wrong bulbs, T8 bulbs, so I kept throwing breakers after running the lights for about 10 minutes. It took me a while to figure out that I was just an idiot.

Jules (Rusty) is now chillin' in the garage with some decent lighting. I plan on adding a few more above the work bench in the back so I can really see what I'm doing when working on stuff, and I have a couple other ideas involving lights.
After lights, we'll just have to see what happens. There's quite a bit more in store!
Huge thanks to Webb for helping me install them, and Shelley too for having the first official garage project.
