Sorry there isn't too much new w the car besides getting the bumper/nose crunched in/cracked 'cause some idiot can't park.. BUUUUT
Daisy will be in new surroundings soon since I'm moving to Seattle in a few weeks. Decided since I'm trying to pursue my other passion in music more seriously again, many people recommended to move to a great music community..
Friday the 20th I'm going to take a load: my keyboards, gear, clothes etc. up through Portland and into Seattle. At first, was gonna raise the car up, take the cf lip off, put the stock wheels back on and blast through, but after thinking about it HELL NO. Gotta keep it rudasfuk - have the bright green ///Msystems on, leave that cracked lip on and slam it down - prob won't run the spacers in back because I'll have couple hundred extra pounds of weight back there and don't wanna hear my rim grinding against the fenders for 13 odd hours LOL... Not sure if doing the 13 hr drive in a day, or crashing in Portland somewhere.. or this is just a PSA 'cause daisy started getting really hot the other day - pretty low on coolant so hoping that was the only reason... not water pump/tstat etc fml seems to be running fine the last couple days though..
Since so many of the great cars I've admired over the years come out of the PNW - really psyched to meet all of you and see your sweet rides in person. If I don't catch you the 20th - driving back down to San Francisco middle of the following week - and then may sell Daisy, then drive the e30 up with my remaining stuff.. not sure about parking 2 cars in Seattle on the street (right now looking in Fremont/Wallingford/Eastlake). Was hoping at least to maybe grab dinner in Portland, anyone wanna meetup? Good spot to recommend?
Looking forward!
