I have QUITE the history with minitrucks, AND cantilever suspension (considering I had a bagged mini with cantilever setup front and rear in 1999) and have been the Editor In Chief at Mini Truckin' magazine for the last nine years

Not trying to start a pissing match by any means, but I know the original owner and builder of that truck, and although it's definitely got tons of cool factor, the suspension IS NOT well engineered (rust aside, just pure geometry and fabrication)... not talking mess by any means, that's just the way it is. I'm NO stranger to full frames and cantilever suspension setups and design, and that is what I've spent the last ten years trying to get others to shoot for! So please don't take this the wrong way, I love that truck and the fact that it's out of the box and got a ton of killer mods, but the suspension just isn't up to par...

Here is my Toyota from 2004 (so you know I'm not just talking smack by any means):

we built a cantilever suspension for the front of my old 41 chevy i had, that was 2 years ago, idk how long ago he built that, but idk if he is the FIRST to accomplish it. maybe on a datsun

my old 620.... lowered 5 in the front, 3 in the rear

Love those static silverados. That shop does some sikk work. Those trucks are all also VERY fast. They have a tight singlecab SS they did as well

BTW, AccuMike, not trying to offend you either, and I understand you seeing it as "scabbed together." but just letting you know, that truck has some crazy work on it. When It was first built the rear frame wasn't really rusted and it looked a lot better.

I saw this truck for the first time exactly 1 year ago in this thread. I've literally been thinking/talking about it everyday since lol

i daily drove this for awhile last summer, had a 5" static drop kit in it and a 4.3 v6 with a 5spd.

i traded it off for another car when it needed all new rear brakes, rear tires and 2nd gear was gone
