i don't mind the black vinyl on the trunk so much but maybe if you took the eyelids off and the stripe down the sides of the car it would pop so much harder, less is always more :] But do you and be happy and never what anyone else wants.

yes among this community if you run rep wheels you better put your flame suit on, not to mention mismatching panels.
but going on the stance... its not bad. could use a little bit more low though! maybe some spacers on the front too!

Stop looking for the acceptance from others and just do what you want to do. It's your car, most of us will probably never see it in person. Get some nice wheels, some camber, and make the car real clean and classy looking. I have a guy in my town with a black srt-4 and I love the way it looks. Keep on ballin brother.

I never realized how bad the panel gaps were on that car until those pics!!! What is up with that hood fitment?
Honestly as far as stance goes, its pretty low and has decent spacing on the wheels. But to me those wheels do no match the rest of the car. With all the other stuff you have going on it would look better with a tuner style wheel. If it were me and I was going to keep those wheels, I would paint the hood, remove the eyelids, and paint the trunk. If I was insistant on leaving the F&F stuff I would get a tuner wheel to match.

Bare with me here. As stated, there are things that make people dislike your SRT4 on here and the two things they are NOT is because it's an SRT4 nor it's lack of cleanliness. Bloodred's SRT4 is not in any way shape or form clean and most of his comments HERE are positive. He's all wood paneled up and started with carbon fiber. Part of the difference is style/execution and part of it is photography.
I can understand wanting to pay homage to the old Mopars with the Cuda stripe, but your wheels don't do that. A tuner style would've had it make sense to this board (cuz most will automatically associate that stripe with FNF) but I would've gone with an older style mag wheel OR diamond racing wheel similar to what you would've found on an older muscle car. Enkei has some nice offerings that don't cost an arm and a leg also. The RS (rep) is normally associated with a car with a cleaner appearance so it just generally doesn't fit.
Your wheel fitment is pretty well executed. I would clean up the rear a bit, meaning the diffuser. If you're going to do an old school theme, commit to it. It's VERY hard to mix the two. Between budget and vision, it's just a difficult task to mix old school and new school and pull it off. Very few do it. And those that do are typically dumping numerous zeros into it. You can get a side exit exhaust, keep the hood, trunk and stripe, switch to a more time appropriate wheel, and with a good photographer, you can PROBABLY pull off an ode to mopar theme very well.
Overall, I think you're heading in a decent direction. Just clean some things up. If you're going to stick with the RS wheel though, you're gonna have to clean your car up or you're going to get a lot of scrutiny.
Lastly, don't quote Stancework mantras because people don't like your car. IT makes you look like a cry-baby. You don't really seem to be that.
my $.02stanceworks: I don't really fit in.

I get lots of comments both good and bad on my car. I take them all and really think about how others view my car and think about what I want. Then I try and find the balance between the two.
