I can see what you mean, although I've never ever even seen an E9 none the less on 18's RS's. But I also know the feeling to need to put your own imprint into something and it is for certain present in this car. Even though I loved it in its first setup, I still love it as it sits.

Looks soo perfect. The car has looked good ever since you got it, but I'm really glad you went with the 501's. I do think some classic 501/504's would look better, but not by much. I hope I get to see this car in person sometime, it looks unreal!

Gonna have to go with mike on this one, it was amazing static on RS's, Roti's were meh, it's perfect on the HRE wheels IMO

I love the bagged and tucked stance. It does set it apart from any other E9. I love the HRE's too. To someone who really appreciates finely crafted wheels, they set it apart as well. I would personally like to see a different color center on the wheels. I think a matte gold with polished lip would look great on it!!! But that's just me. Looks awesome as/is and I am sure it is, and always will be a work in progress...

    HRE> RS > Rotiform

You outdid yourself again Michael. Im kinda with everyone about the heights wise. But like you said, it's just another factor that makes the car do known.

I like te hre's a lot although I loved the rs's, played out maybe but with the classic chrome look really fitting with the e9 (polished centers on the hre's could be the way to go). Also I like to see a slight rake on older Beemers because of the lower rear arches. But still a absolute dreamride.

    So local!
Wish I was passing by when you were taking these shots.
I'm hoping one of these days I will accidentally see you on the road driving the e9.
Looks much better than the Rotiforms that is for sure.
It is no way whatsoever "too low".
I love all the tuck going on out back.
I envy your out-of-state antique car plate.
Can get away with murder with one of those.
