What is it about e30s that prevents the front from being low? They always seem to have reverse rake.

That looks slightly forward raked to me. Later e30's just have really low rear arches and it makes it look like reverse rake even if the front is low.

Car looks good just needs some wheels.

im thinkin 6" springs instead of 7" will get it lower, and same camber plates.

Late model rear arches are less 'round' so they are automatically lower in the rear in terms of 'looks'. This is part of it.

The other major issue is the oil pan is a BIG problem on the e30. If you got on lowering springs and sport shocks there is a chance you can blast your oil pan. There are some options for dealing with that. Quality skid plate, raise the motor etc.

yeep, i got a e30motorwerks skidplate, its solid as hell.
plus, i have my watchfull eyes out on the road, so far, just gotta watch for driveways, which isnt that bad. maybe a dry sump might help out more

Getting the front's low on e30's requires more work than most do, as the shocks bottom out quickly.

Looks pretty clean OP, get some 12's for the back and it won't be bad at all.
