I'm on 5'7" so a bigger bike is too big for me. The sporty size fits me perfect. I know a lot of guys don't like the Sportys but check out a lot of the new builds. Except for baggers most are Sports and Sporty Hardtails.

Softails and larger Hartails are just played out IMO..

I couldn't run a Hardtail in MTL, the roads are terrible. Trust me i would if i could!!
Same story everywhere. I live in the NYC area and have ridden quite a few hardtail bikes with and without sprung seats and suspension bikes with 3/8"-1/2" tire to fender through some of the worst roads jumped speedbumps curbs cuts, you name it and it feels fine

      excuses are for ppppp.

I have a nightster, 48's are pretty much the same. I chopped the frame, bobbed the fender made mine into a rigid, drag bars and took off/ relocated a lot of things on mine. I can fit about a couple credit cards between my tire and fender.
I think it would look better if u made it a little tougher looking the spring suspension with springer seat I don't like. I have just a springer seat on mine and it feels fine. Plus you could get it much lower.
I think your colors aren't flowing well either. Flat black with dark brown seat, tan wrap, Crome pipes sticking out.
