If anything you need the best quality wheels you can get in order not to run into problems on the shitty roads.

May not be as bad as the East Coast, but they're pretty jacked up!

Looked soooo good rolling down the street with his buddies (dumped s13, slammed e28, and fancyass mini)
    Interior was soooo clean.
LOL the drive to Venice was quite the obstacle course yesterday.
I would imagine the police pulling you over cuz they think you're drunk driving trying to dodge the random speedbumps in 45mph sections and 10" deep potholes.

Really? I think it suits it perfectly, just needs a wooden shift knob.

The shifter feels amazing. The plate is bolted to the transmission tunnel, and there are only metal parts. Having the shifter right by the steering wheel makes it really convenient, and the throw is pretty short.

Rotas aren't fine for any car that's driven.

Badass. Props to a fellow 2002 owner.

To each their own, all this was done with the customer's budget in mind. The Rotas are fine for a car that's daily driven in the terrible streets of Los Angeles. The proper sized tires make the ride more comfortable, and keep the period specific look. The fenders aren't my cup of tea, but that's what the customer wanted.
