  • just a rolling shot 1 pic

Driving home from work the other day my brother snapped a pic of my car. Mind you he drives a e55 I'll try to load some nice shots of. But here in Ohio winters I had to higher my car an inch and get a 3m clear bra on him. Rolling polished style 5 wheels makes me want to take them apart for a fresh powder coat and polish next year.

    Summer slam

Last one with my brothers car and mine at stock height

I was gonna change the title after I found some pics to add but I couldn't. The last shot was heading home from Pa when my broth bought his car.

Yea they are 17 in wheels. Only thing that sucks is I'm not gonna go to single piece wheels with no lip as a supposed upgrade. So multi piece 18 in and larger wheels are more then I pad for the car that came with the rims that are on it. I love being able to polish my lips separate from the rest of the wheels and change color at will. Think next year I'm gonna try anadized green or blue powder coated bolts and faces. The style 5 wheel thread is going strong in the appreciation forum. I've got a lot of inspiration for my wheels there. I wanted a set of 19 in m parallels with the big lip out back but like I said single piece wheels aren't for me. There's no m parallel appreciation thread after all.

This car cost less then 3k for price reference and it came from fl first registered in Ohio in 2011.

As I said this was a cheap car. A set of 18 in style 5 wheels and tires would cost 2k or more easily. Then need bored as they where made for 7 series cars. I appreciate your input. If I come across a different set of 2 piece or 3 piece wheels I'll grab them but I'm not to concerned about size. I would like the 5 spoke wheels that came on the 540 sports in the late 90's. They use the same barrels as mine so that would be cool to have pieces to mix and match.

nice one piece wheel with no lip > shitty 2 piece stock piece 8j wheels that are too small.

you are pissing your money away by spending any more money on refinishing them.

I don't pay money to do it as I do it myself with elbow grease. I guess to each his own. For me the detail of a multi piece wheel cannot be matched by single piece wheels. I mean I'd like some other wheels but I don't see it in the cards.
