  • Crazy Fall Colors

It just one picture for now. I'm having issues with saving RAW files to jpeg. If you know much about that, your input would be greatly appreciated in this thread: http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2388 I'll update with more pictures as soon as I get it figured out.

Anyway, on to the one picture is was able to get to come out okay.

EDIT: Here are a few more.

    C&C more than welcome.

One thing I discovered about raw is that its best to only the manufacturer's software to edit raw pics. I have a Nikon and in the past when I have tried editing raw shots on CS4, etc. I get REALLY shitty results. I looked into it because it was frustrating me a lot, and found out that RAW formats are pretty much proprietary. Once I dl'ed Nikon's RAW editor (mainly only to convert to jpeg), the pictures came out perfectly.

So the moral of the story is look into software from your camera's manufacturer. Usually they will have a free version available.

Ya, I don't ever remember the colors being so intense here.

Thanks. I actually kind of like the pole in the picture. Gives a kind of accent color and adds some character.

I played with this pic a bit, hope you don't mind. Just sharpened it then removed noise. Also depending on where your photo is hosted, it'll look better (so I've heard). I saw an example one time comparing flikr and photobucket so I thought I would try and see if there really was a difference.
