Many-to-most people living in Europe would say the same about a '98 Passat.

I think the Focus can be a good platform and from a 5x108 wheel whore, it is just a matter of offset and width, the rest can be corrected/adapted. You do need to start with higher offset wheels or usually 5x112 when redrilling though.
