Hey, just my 2 cents. I read through the whole thread (skimming), mainly focusing on OP postings and resposnses etc. I have to say this. To conceptualize something as different is one thing. To reflect upon it as appealing is another. To ask a question of the general public before revealing something deemed to be "different" is to indirectly request someones opinion to validate your work. Thus, the reasoning for my distaste in this whole thread. Your title, for one, puts me off. If "it is what it is", then let it be just that. Don't have to announce to the world (this forum) that you are attempting to go off the wall.

The car itself, as a whole is kind of a "mish-mash" of different schools of thought. In my humble opinion i quite like it. Nothing about it is overly mediocre, and nothing is overly well-done either. It sits in a pocket of sinister, with a hint of unrefined elegance. My use of big words is not meant to impress, its meant to explain something that i have an opinion on. <---see what i did there? its what your doing now...and it's whats bugging me.

I know i use those words to come off brainy and well-learned. Who cares? none of you have seen me so who cares what my online persona is? You are doing that same thing. You are trying to show the world how different/unique you are. why? if u are that, then just be that. you dont need to show it to the world. It just so happens that your expression of your individuality is something that will be seen by many people. Thats fine. But, if you truly believe in it, dont explain it before you show it off. just let it be what it is, and answer questions accordingly. try not to be defensive in your explanations. if people dont see your vision, so be it. If they want to "flame" or "****" on your ride, then let them. They are who they are and you cant change that. It seems as if your trying to create a conflict, and then call foul on those who engage you.

Finally, we are not the first generation on earth, so sadly, its almost safe to say that nothing is unique anymore. The only thing one can do, is execute a current style better then the others. I caught a feeling from reading this thread that most of the car buliding vets are all saying the same thing. Its not really as unique as u think it is, because its all been done. Graffiti on cars...check...underglow...check...huge wings...check.....crazy swaps.....check. Dont claim those as your own. No harm in having inspiration from other builds, that wont make you a follower.

I was literally on the verge on writing a response similar to what you have written here (not that I reply much to anything on Stanceworks...), but anyways you hit the nail on the head. The phrase,"Do You" comes to mind after having read this thread and your response. Basically, do what moves you. Whatever that is. No explanation. Live how you see fit and do what makes you happy. Stop worrying about others opinion and honestly, as I say... Don't ask for it. People in general will give their opinion without being asked or forced into it. As a whole though I like the car. Keep up the work. However, the short video coming out of the driveway was not enough... we need more. Staying tuned.

Take my hat off to you for doing it. I couldnt imagine me and my friends spraying my car like you have. Nor would i run neons but that doesnt matter because its yours. Only thing i would say is that the phrase 'comments welcome good or bad' is false because you clearly dont 'welcome' the critisism... you defend your vehicle at any given chance which is what any normal person would do. When i see a car thats totally different and off the wall, i try to picture it driving through my town and what my reaction would be (hope you follow). To be honest if i seen this MX id love it so well done!
