just different styles. seems most euro owners on here have the same style. thats all
The same style is something timeless thats been around for 30 years. If your doing it to stand out then by all means hand clap. If your doing it to do it right then start paying attention because they aren't all the same. The attention to detail with these cars that you call "the same" is unreal. If you open your eyes you will realize that the wheels aren't all the same, a great majority of the cars have carefuly pulled fenders and quarters, the body modifications are often exclusive and subtle, and the cars on their own are often old and rare or newer and expensive.

Look at a car like Gio's LS, Jeremys e28, Brian's d3 a8, the VIP modular a6 from seatle, Austins y33, and so on and tell me they are all "the same".

I'm not looking to get into this much further just don't group shit together because the same can be done for your car and your mentality.

Who are you to judge what is "right" though?

What is Right for a track car, or for a show car, or for a lowered car? it is all subjective. that is the beauty of it all. your right, doesn't equal my right, or maybe someone elses right.
The thing is (and this is all just a mental exercise on my part anyways for my entertainment at this point) people lumped my car in a category, and when i basically questioned the reasoning, the people that had reasoning did. whereas responses such as yours, just defended your car. its entertaining.

I never said that such cars arent nice, or are ugly, or arent "right" but they all do "look" the same. I never said small details were all the same, or they all had ugly fenders. Interpretation is everything id venture to say here.
      Disclaimer:
I am rude, opinionated, and sometimes come off as a dick. I am just speaking my mind. If it offends you, PM me. Don't go whine to someone else. I am civil, talk to me, just dont be stupid.

I'm just a regular joe smoe and what I say is my opinion. My opinion is that you guys (with the purposely clapped out cars) do it to stand out not for your own entertainment.

All I'm saying is don't group it all together as the same because its not and for someone who doesn't want there shit grouped together with the other junk cars coming out of the woodwork your doing it quite a bit.

I'd really just like to see it in action. The aesthetics are not to my taste, at all, but seeing it perform would be cool.

And if this is being ahead of the curve, implying what styling will look like in a few years, I quit cars.

That even said, I don't get what is "ahead of the curve." People have been building outrageous looking drift/track cars with bright paint jobs and huge wings for a LONG time.

dont see what is so confusing, unless you cannot comprehend "what is your definition of clapped out"

maybe mine and yours are completely differnet judging by you calling my car clapped out.
                        that's all

The hipster comes in from the "I was doing it way before it hellaflush stance, etc..." And like I said, if that's your style, I can dig that and respect that. I'm not bashing you or the car, by any means. I just hear those type of cliche terms so often and even if/when they are accurate, it makes you sound tooly. I don't think you are and based on the back and forth banter, you don't seem to be. Those statements just have a certain monicker and stigma.
stanceworks: I don't really fit in.

the point i was trying to make, is the individual telling me not to make generaliztions, was doing so himself. thats all.

I m as far from a hipster "as i see them described" as possible. I shoot film and wear black frame glasses. other than that, i share nothing. lol
