thanks guys. im still trying to decide exactly what im going to do with the rub strips right now. my original plan was to do a badgless grill and shave the front bumper and color match the side moulding. but i kinda like the black rub strips at times. :/

Yeah I see where you are coming from.
The rear bumper color matched with the rub-strips left black would be quite cool IMO.
