They are not 'Genuine' because they are made by Rondell, not BMW, same as those really nice offset ones Bolf has on his E38.
Same design as the E36 ones, but better sizes pretty much genuine.
. . so . . they are reps made by Rondell . . Rondell is a cheap and lukewarm quality wheel . . so how does that qualify as "genuine" in any way?? . . . and why should those be "M5 Contours" . . because they're made for the E34? . . then why not "520i-Contours"?? . . they're just a set of cheap reps for the E34/E32/E38 . . not genuine, no connection to M5 whatsoever . .
but maybe the title "E36 Touring on fake-Contours" wouldn't have sounded cool enough
still two cool cars . . even with "fake" wheels . .
my Bimmers . . . ->HERE!!<-
my unhealthy amount of Wheels!! . . . ->HERE!!<-

They're known as E34 M5 Contours - why just M5 I don't know, but there we go. The 8.5" fronts are fairly common wheels over here but not the 10" rears.
Because some BMWs were shipped with Rondell wheels from the factory.
really? . . that's news to me . . please show me any OEM styling that's made by Rondell?! . . I collect, buy and sell (mostly BMW) wheels for a while now (click on "WHEELS" in my sig to see what I mean . .) . . and am working for BMW since 1995 . . I've seen Ronal, OZ, BBS, Rial, Borbet even Chomodora OEM-BMW wheels . . but Rondell? . . . which one? . .
In my knowledge and experience . . Rondell is a pure rep-Company which copies OEM wheels . . it's a subsidiary company of R.O.D. . . so it's the same company which also produces Lenso wheels . . . and the quality is far from whet any self respecting car manufacturer would sell as their own wheels . .
Can't wait to get copies of the new issue. Not only to pour over our own E90 in there, but also to check out two seriously awesome wagons made by people I happen to know!

Keep up the good work, Ben.
Haha, we all told her that! Although that thing is really close to the ground, as is mine - the pictures just do them no real justice! What I think Louise needs is bigger wheels, though her Image splits are pure sex so I don't blame her for wanting to keep them.
Surprised your copies haven't arrived yet, fire me an email if there's still nothing by the end of the week and I'll send more. Can't have you not having copies!
