  • Adventures in a Caterham

I've been working with my friend Randy Chase of Adrenaline Gallery to build his Demo Cars.

The first one is finally completed, so I decided no better way to find out if it works, then to drive it home in the dark, then take it to a meet in the rain. Ok, that's not quite how I planned it, but that's how it ended up.

Here are a few pics from this morning. The scary looking guy with the Jacket over his head is Randy.

Needless to say, when I got home I took a nice hot shower, because after only 5 miles I was quite cold and wet.

I didn't know that it ever rained in Carlsbad. That car has to be insanely fun.

Yeah, it only rains occasionally in SoCal, but when it does, you might as well go for a drive in a topless sideless car!!!!!!!!!

Here's a video from the AutoX this past weekend. I tell you what, this car is fun to drive, but can be quite a challenge to drive truly fast. This was run early, before I really got the hang of it.

Yes they are, they get registered as a Kit Car, thus no worries of SMOG or any of the other BS. We are currently running on the Dealer plates, so still haven't been through the registration process. We understand how it's supposed to work, but can't speak first hand of how it Really works yet.
