  • Impromptu local meet. BMW content

Some quick shots by my buddy Mike (He has the Estoril E36, not sure if he is on here)... A few different BMW's.

These are the first pics of my new setup, the sawblades. 17x9.5 all around, ET 11 Rear, 8 front. May go with a little spacer out back and definitely need more low up front, but for now I am pretty happy with the transformation. Feedback of any kind welcome!

The thing that bothers me is when people run different rims from a different make car, and then leave the emblem on there.

Why? Those people are not trying to hide it at least.

thanks for the feedback. I personally think the corvette emblem on the wheels are pretty funny. The wheels have been awesome so far, but definitely won't be on the car forever... I am always looking around at other options

I like the vette wheels, I mean they aren't at the top of the list but I still like them. How is fitment for them on the e28? Any rolling?

The fitment is pretty good. Those pics don't really do the rear justice, They are rolled a bit and probably need a little more (they rub slightly on big dips or if I have alot of weight out back). The front has no roll, but if I do end up coming down in the front they will need a slight roll. I am running a 225/45 all around, I didn't want to stretch really anymore than that.

The vette wheels are an age old argument. I could not run a 9.5 inch wide wheel with the aggressive offsets for the $ with anything else. When the funds are there, of course I want to go with a nicer wheel, but for now I like the sawblades.

The only place I saw an abundance of sawblades other than on the internet is at H20. These things are all over the forums, but in real life they are still pretty unique.

Thanks for the feedback guys, keep it coming!

So you need an adapter too I'm guessing? If I found a set locally for a good price I would get them, I really like the look on the e28. I'd probably paint them white or something, are yours white? I can't quite tell.

Get over it. Is this the first time you've been on the internet? This sort of thing has been going on for quite awhile.

The bmws look real swell guys.
