  • 328i advice needed

    Hi people,
I have an e36 328i and am coming to the point where I want to slam it!
I have searched the forum and cant find what I need to know. Im working on a budget and Im keeping the same wheels. Not too sure whether to paint the lip and the face a couple of colours or get it polished.
At the minute im running 8.5j on the rear so for the tyres Im thinking 215/40/17 and the fronts 7.5j. so 195/40/17?
Coilovers and then work out what spacers to get!
Does this set up sound like it would work?

google is your friend, mate. Look up Bimmerforums "slammed e36 thread" to get you started.

heres mine: 17x7.5 allround with 5mm spacers 120mm drop on coilovers and 205 40's...tucking aint the word,

195's would honestly look awfull unless you spaced it loads

195's will tuck like balls, only way it will work is by spacing it loads
            195.40 on a 7.5j: http://tyrestretch.com/7.5_195_40_R1...40_R17.jpg.php
            215.40 on a 8.5j:http://tyrestretch.com/8.5_215_40_R1...ZE_912.jpg.php

your going to need massive spacers id imagine to pull stretched tyres off for them wheels to fill the arches and look right with the camber you will get from slamming it, the rears will be easy enough,

Ta for the advice mate! If i went for 18s 8.5j and 9.5j and then stretch tyres on you reckon that would solve it!
