  • Mk1 Golf from Australia

New member here and thought id show off my box.

Won't bore you with to many details as i could go on for ages. I've had this car for a while and after crashing my mk2 gti a while ago i decided to get stuck in to this. I've still got another mk1 and another 2 mk2s that need to be sold or worked on.
All the work was done by me and sometimes friends apart from the seats reupholster.

    1978 mk1 GLS
was auto, now manual (020 5speed)
runs a 1.9L audi block with mk2 GTi head and webber down draft

    Hottuning coilovers
    BBS RS (RS101 i think....)
    4x100
    15x7 et25
    15x8 et7
    165/55 Toyo rubber

    1400wrms stereo
    140db on a Term Lab

There is still a way to go with it,
respray is needed as although the original paint is still shiny theres not much of it left,
Engine bay needs further tidying up
the wheels need a refurb and will probably got 8" all round
bigger brakes and rear disk conversion is on its way
    twin 40's carbies and a 268 cam
New 020 with 1-4 close rations and long 5th

Let me know what you think and thanks for lookin
