Pretty sure its not the first one, but its the only one I have seen done right.
We bagged it last June, and drove it 1200 miles from Texas to Nashville for the GoodGuys show to make sure we had no issues......passed with flying colors. After that i put a little over 50k on it driving it bagged since June including driving it to Va to get painted for SEMA then driving it the 2500 miles to SEMA then driving it home the 1400 back to Houston. Couldnt have done it without the Kats from AirLift, and Mitch Henderson Designs. We are probably going to cut into the front wheel wells to get the front down lower, but you start running into windows rolling all the way down issues. I would just cut new glass, but we are contemplating some kind of exotic engine swap at the moment.
The van has 160,000 miles on it in the last four years, and its still all mechanical corvair parts just like 1964.....thinking maybe a ecotec or a small diesel swap
