This was my first "modded" car, a 1993 Mazda Protege LX:

The day I bought it, it had 13" wheels with 1/4" spacers to make them clear the front brakes. The RF wheel fell off about 3 miles from the dealership I bought them from. So, my dad's white miata daisy's went on that afternoon.

    It's peak:

I learned a lot on this thing, and hopefully will have another some day... on full suspension, with a built klze and some nice rims...
The daily: 2009 Honda Fit Sport
    Buddy Club N+ Coil Overs
    Rota D2 17x8.5 et48f et40r after 8mm spacer
    Honda Accord dual exhaust tips
Blacked out headlights, tinted tails and fogs, painted rear bumper section.

After having a few shit boxes, I bought this 97 Probe GTS bone stock when I was 18...

I didn't know much about wheels, fitment, suspension or much of anything really then. But my friends and I threw a turbo kit together and installed in in my driveway and the car became a blast. A hundred or so cars later that was one of the most fun cars I've ever owned.

First and current. I will only sell it over my cold dead body.

This thread is cool. My first official (running driving) "modded" car is probably my van.

like 65-70% of first timers, I went through a ricer phase, but in 2009 I recovered from all that and in 2010 is when the shit got real. How it looked like in spring 2011:

I got my 1979 Mitsubishi LC Lancer fastback coupe (also known as the Plymouth Arrow in the 'States) when I was 14 (over a decade ago now... holy shit I'm old). Had the original 1.6L swapped for a 2.6L and later a 2.0L Astron engine, extractors, and some other fun stuff. Great motorkhana car.

I drive too fast to worry about cholesterol.

Same night i picked it up,,

Then got some original wheel's, Fogs and 30mm lowering springs

Then got into drifting! Needed more power..

Crashed it drifting,, New fender/wheels/whole front end,,

Eventually crashed it again,, And stopped giving a fuck.

Then discovered stanceworks.. Got some coilovers and low offset banded steelies.

Today its about an inch lower all around! Dont have any pics of it though

This was the first car that I modded, and was truly proud of. I wish that I had never sold it.
