Very rare OEM all metal roof rack (sold it for a profit)
Had a twin scroll 14T turbo to swap in, but never got around to it.

Spent $4,000+ in repairs over my 2 year period of ownership, needed another $1,000 when I sold it.
Sold the car after owning it for 2 years for only $500 less than I paid for it.
Despite that, if I could buy it back right now I would. Never burned a drop of oil or coolant and never left me stranded.

This was my 4th car/truck but it was the first one that I modified from being completely stock. Sold it back in August to buy what I currently drive, miss it from time to time.

My 1st car was a '96 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra that my parents bought from my grandmother for me. Since it was always going to stay an ugly, slow old lady car I just threw a nice system in it. I guess that counts as modding, but not really.

The 1st car I really modded was my '72 Super Beetle. Rebuilt the carbs, Slammed it, put a new transmission and shifter in; replaced the Stinger with an Empi exhaust; redid the interior... I loved that thing. Picked it up for nothing more than a few hours "working" for my dad. He had a friend who mentioned "an old VW just basically rotting next to my ex-wifes house. She keeps bitchin' at me to get it outta there but I don't even want the thing!" so he struck a deal and had me "work" to pay him back. "Work" meant hanging out at his tattoo shop and flirting with the girls that came in... Can't say that it was a bad experience

2001 Ford focus zts sedan. Did a lot of firsts with this car and out of the 4.5 years it has gave me (along with the stupid amount of problems that it came with), a part of me will miss that car.
