  • Winter mode pics; post them up

I'll have mine in about an hour. I came in to warm up; gotta lower the driver's side front a little (overshot raising it up), and put on the two front wheels.

    Post up.

What is that you speak of, this "raising it up"?

Here's my wintermode... coils are by no means dialed in since I just swapped them over from the sedan, I'll dial them in once I swap to the summer wheels.

    E46 steelies (6.5x15 ET42) and hubcaps... yay.
    And 205/60/15 Fulda winter tires.

About two finger gap; that's the raising up.

Steelies ftmfw. I just bought a set of 4 with new Tyfoon Eurosnow (mad tyte euro parts yo) tires from a guy that was in the military and brought them back with his Z3 from Germany. 15x6.5 et47 205/60/15 ... needless to say I couldn't pass them up.

Ok I'm going outside to finish this; I gotta get a haircut at some point today too and at the rate I'm going, that's never gonna happen.

Problems. When I test fitted the steelies in slam mode nothing rubbed; now that I got the thing raised up, the spring perch is right where the tire bows out and it rubs. Oh well, looks like I'll need the spacers anyway ... come on UPS man, bring it while I'm dirty lol.

                    Spring mode:

                    Winter mode:

... Yeah; where I'm from we don't really have 'Winter weather' [; snow, heavy rain, etc...] hence no winter mode...

Lowest temp. we'll probably have this winter is around 60F on a constant rainy day...
