my first thought was...maybe smaller tires would look more appropriate, but then i saw your plate and your driveway....probably very useful after all lol
jesus christ, PEOPLE OUT THERE... ANYBODY ... THIS IS A STANCEWORKS!!! This site is dedicated to LOW really LOW cars...
I know what you mean, everyone and their mother is posting in the showroom with their cars that arent even low or agressive at all. Everything like this should be in the build forum where it can grow and grow and when its all grown up and stanced it can make its way into the showroom.

It looks a little better clean, and yes, some 195/45 with more of a drop would be good.
Point taken, I'll start a build thread and stay out of the Showroom until my car is "stanced" enough for everyone. Keep in mind I still need to live with it every day and make it up and down my driveway.
Why is everyone so elitist? I know its stanceworks and we are all here for slammed cars, but I think its very elitist to rag on every car who doesn't scrape over a pebble. Anyone remember how high these cars are stock? It's quite lowered compared to stock. I think if this is how he has decided to make his car, it should be here in the show room. I agree though, all the show room threads like "I threw my winter set up on, everyone please look at my temporary set up that i only use sometimes" should be in the build thread.
man, I miss old stanceworks. even if people didn't like something, they were polite about it back then. Now it's like a dick swinging contest of who can say "more low" first or rag on rather than give positive criticism or compliments.

Anyways, I really like your car and the fact that it's not zomg jdm tyte yo retard camber and stretch. it has a very good looking moderation of camber and meaty tires. Maybe a tiny bit more negetive camber in front to clear the sidewalls into fender edges?
This is my favorite square light GTI on the board. All you assholes complaining about how it's not low enough or stanced are stupid to think he would destroy his car on his driveway to make you happy.

Thanks man! That vibe is what drew me to Stanceworks in the first place and away from the VWVortex. That place is FULL of h@ters. I'm trying to get my hands on a set of G60 flares to tuck my fronts under along with some 195/45s when my current tires wear out. Can't justify new tires on my budget for purely aesthetic reasons. I shave my front flairs down in every hard corner already due to adapter/wheel offset limitations. It's a work in progress of course. I thought it would be fun to show that while I work hard to make my car as clean as possible, I'm not afraid to get it dirty.
BTW, your TSI is beautiful! One of my favorite JDMs.
