If your able to go back to the start for a sec...."Right so my Mission: Change people's oppinions on R33's..." I'm not making a VIP car.. Or a "racecar", I am however improving what is know as the ugly brother of the skylines... If you must know though, the car is driven Every day.. And will be brought on track and used by me... A professional drifter.

Pretty simple statement, no? I'm confused as to where you got the idea that this is a race car? It wasn't great to start with.... Why have you modified your BMW or that other thing? To be different?

Moving on.. The car isn't even painted yet, this is a project thread... I,e, not yet finished, I believe in showing what you are doing as you are doing it... And not make up stories after........ All is here for people to see - lines will be taken care of before paint.

Ricer? Im not from America "bro" so feel free to elaborate here, preferably in English.

Again I'm not american and have only ever passed by Compton on the way to lax.. But you seem to know the area.. So tell me how many sets of 10,5" front / 12" rear SSR Agle Strusse's you see when there... Feel free to take some time on this one, no pressure

Gone to work on my car..

I did not post what I did to offend you which apparently I did, I was simply stating that you obviously have put a lot of money into a car that I THINK looked great from the get go, I get that it is not a completed car, but I don't need to be a professional drifter to be able to imagine what your car will look like after paint.

I come from the world of OEM+ at best when it comes to body styling and look, and a whole other world in terms of performance. Up to this point when I look at your car I see someone slapping a bunch of plastic body parts and a set of 32 pound wheels, that I am sure are great for drifting. Nor have I see a single post about you doing anything to the performance of this car, and don't try and tell me the plastic pieces on the fenders are doing anything in terms of performance because I am not going to by it.

The bottom line is that you didn't make a blog about the build of your skyline, you posted on an open forum where you are open for criticism and critiques, I think if you looked around on S|W you would see that the majority of us arn't driving around in cars that look like this...

Note taken, no more opinions from me

Again in no way am I trying to offend anyones personal tastes or styles, but in an open forum I feel like you should be able to give critiques just as much as you can give compliments. I can see there is a lot of hard work put into the car here, I hope it turns out to be everything you hope it to be

One thing I never understood about people like you is why you insist on commenting on something you just don't like... You say you only like clean cars, then you must not have been around many drift cars.

Back to it... Fibreglass boot lid and doors ordered

After reading this thread, I'm not sure where the issue is.

I'd slide the fuck out of that car at every corner, intersection, and driveway exit guaranteed. Hell, keep the chromies on it too, fuck it. Looks like a plain-Jane fuckin' Skyline, big whoop.

Do work son, keep doing YOUR shit. Fuck ******.

im confused, maybe some of the trendy follower BMW guys dont get the JDM thing. i didnt read all of this, but even if some of the parts arent jdm bodykits, and just fiberglass, it looks like all the legit reall ass JDM cars i do see in super street. most of the sjylines have wide ass body parts and wide ass wheels. since u dont know, the wheels look like "Work" brand wheels, i may be wrong but im sure they are definitly multi-piece forged wheels, not some cheap heavy chrome ghetto wheels. some people put VIP wheels on non-VIP platforms bu thats cool with me makes us all different. i like seeing people switch things up, and if i had this car yeah i woulda left the stock body parts but i also like the epic-ness of this build.

not singling you out, some people can like or dislike, but the things u said about it are just politically incorrect about the parts and stuff thats all.

SLAM THIS THING I LOVE THESE!!!

The wheels are SSR's and a lot of works are not forged

                      • Back to put my input,

Peden, great build man. Everything you have accomplished thus far looks great and fits the drift scene that is around now. The wheels might be much for the actual drifting but I also dont see you drifting alot on them. I see you swapping them out during the competitions.. forgive me if im wrong.

All the beemer people on here complaining, Some are saying theres no performance here yet, if you read through the thread theres already been a bunch of suspension work done, which is one of the biggest upgrades when it comes to getting the rear end out and controlling it. Followed by seats, harnesses, comfort stuff.

And the last of this long post. I am currently in Japan, I have been for 4 months and still have another 2 months. When he says this is the ugly brother, he isnt kidding, If you go look the R32 and R34 are much better looking, But he is putting the time in to improve the looks and its obviously something he wants to do, We arnt building this car he is....

Keep up the great work Peden and personnally I cant wait to see whats to come.
