Fronts ready for fresh rubber.. 245/35/18 on the fronts (the rears are running 265/35/18)

One last check to make sure they clear, we had to add a 10mm spacer to clear the calipers

    Hmmmmm

First front on.. This all seems to be going waaaaaaay to easy!

As i pulled out to FINALLY wash the car... this was as far as i could turn the wheels!!

James Deane just cutting some of the FRP quarter (Just in case…)

So do they fit…. YES THEY DO!!!!!

    Excuse the bad pictures…!!

Leon @ EP Racing sent out this really great carbon snap off boss which fits on to the already mounted boss… allows me to finally move back my seat whilst remaining close to the steering wheel (and not bang my knees of the dash!!)

    NEXT up…. Front wheels

Here we go…. Calm before the storm??

James Deane looking a little puzzled as how these things were going to fit… being honest he pretty much said the entire time they would fit, I was the Giant skeptic here!!

Right so machine number one…… FAIL!! Wasn’t big enough to take the 12” rears

So off we went to garage number two…… which luckily saw the tires go on!

Moment of truth… will they fit!!??

So after a LOOOOOOOONG fight.. the front bumper went on - Still Very very bad fit and we will have to go back at it when it comes to paint time...

Time for the sideskirts and same story here!! The shape of them were so terrible that we had to get creative! Good thing this car isnt being built as a trailer queen!

Old wheels back on for another few days..

    D/side view.... for now

    P/side view.... for now

Right so went to the shop to have a look at the wheels... These are the fronts on the back.... we arent out of the woods yet!!

Here are the proper rear..... i know its going to take a little work, however they are a must for this project!

So we started trimming the quarter to make way for the rear bumper.. which fitted Very badly!

    Here it is finally fitted..

Then on to the front bumper..... hmmmmmmmmm familiar sight!

Right so i took off the GTR spoiler...

Got my hands on complete GTR quarter panels, which extend up the C

Had a quick test fit.. fitment was very good, with only small work needed for good fitment it would seem

Picked up some +40mm d-max wings

    ...and bought some wheels: Fr 18x10,5 +3 / Rr 18x12 -3

My daily drifter - Irish R33 Skyline

Hi everyone.. First post here, only just found out about you guys today! Keen to see what you think of my little Irish project..

Right so my Mission: Change people's oppinions on R33's...

I started off with a bog standard R33, the previous owner had changed the exhaust, clutch, air filter and suspension + added a GTR spoiler..

Once i had made my mind up as to which direction i wanted to go, i replaced the oem seats and steering wheel

Carbon fixed on the d/s and soft comfy recliner on the p/s
Working...
