So heres my UK Mk4 Jetta/Bora. She started out with me about 3 months ago now, completely standard. 1.9TDi Highline (Similar to the GLi in the US?) with 84k miles on her.

Over the last few months iv dropped her on a some cheap coilovers and added some aftermarket porsche wheels, AEZ Simas X, which are staggered 18x8.5j and 18x10j. Other than she has a few small extras, smoothed bonnet/grill, fluffy dice, stickers etc And thats how she will probably stay for winter, and then in feb/march il be adding a few more bits and bobs ready for the 2012 shows and summer!

Heres a very small selection of the photos I have which show the progress so far, enjoy!

Wheels will be refurbed in the new year too, thinking of maybe doing black lips and deep blood red centers, with gold bolts. Thoughts? Im also hoping to smooth out the front numberplate recess and colour code/smooth in the rear valance.

Thanks for having a read, comments and the like are all welcome! Dan.

I really dislike the wheels, and it could be lower and don't like the sound of black and red wheels but the car is clean and a Bora is a nice base to start.

No worries man, everybody seems to either absolutely love the wheels or totally **** them haha! Its going lower once a notch is sorted though, its just depressing going out to work on cars when its like 2*c isnt it.

I think I recognise your name/avatar btw, you were on pug306.net a year or so ago, and obviously a few years before that? Loved your BM on the yellow/black splits

I don't like the wheels, imo if you want to paint them, paint them all in matte black or some grey...not sure...

          black and red not.

          IMO...

They were all matt black before, albeit on a blue car. Photo's FYI:

The red/black thing is just an idea atm, il get some photoshops sorted closer to decision time.
