May I ask how risky are the w124 Diesels in terms of sump damage when ran so low ?

Reason I'm asking is because I'm considering a w124 diesel for a daily, static and with "reasonable" lowness - is the w124 any better than, say, the BMW e28 in this regard ?

No problems with the w124 Diesel, you can drive it all days.
I don't know if the w124 is better than the e28 or not in this regard.

I think is the same, the Carlsson's 1/6 (page 2) come from a 230ce.

Let me just say that your Benz is sooo classy! When you compare it to an original one, the difference is huge. And all thanks to an absolute minimum of alterations. Wheels, air and no more
