What's up? Well, I introduced myself some time ago on here, since then I've been blowing up the for sale thread with countless bumps a day and I'm sure everyone is relieved once the item sells so they don't have to see the thread anymore.
But anyways, my car is a 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo. It's gone through numerous transformations, and the biggest one will be this winter/spring. All of this has come out of a realization of how stagnant the Volvo scene is, it's a cookie cutter world filled with repeating bolt-ons and the fear of doing anything that someone won't approve of.
I'll let the pictures do the rest of the work. Car started as your typical hand-me-down from my parents for when I left to go to college about 4.5 years ago and in my time of idiocy did what I did, I'm not proud of it. lol

And that's all you're going to see because it's embarrassing.
got some new shoes. On Bilstein HDs with lowering springs, didn't do much.

I had bought a wagon that I was going to build, but decided that it was financially more responsible to stick with the sedan, so I parted the wagon, made a few bucks and proceeded with the sedan.
This consisted of:
-Auto to manual swap
-NA cams
-new(er) engine
-FMIC
-TD04 19T
-intake
-injectors
-stage 3 21psi tune
-etc etc etc
And a bunch of other stuff, best part, I didn't have a place to do it, so I did it in my parking garage of my apartment. lol

Then last winter I went with a new suspension to get me down a bit. Koni DIY coilovers, kept the rear Bilstein HD shocks but got better lowering springs and cut two coils. Along with a few other changes, looked like this:

And now comes in my realization of how much I need to get out of the Volvo "mind-set" and into some different changes, that's when this all started. Started wheel whoring and trying to find the right set and went through all these:
Fat Fives Bought, sold right away.

A8 Monoblocks

Carlsson 3/6

RS178

RS215

As of now they're all sold and I kept the 178s for myself. I'm getting custom barrels made to stagger them, they'll be 17x8.5 and 17x9.5. The centers are powder coated ivory. Getting new hardware and new center caps and polishing all of the lips, some pics

A great opportunity came up and I sold my makeshift lowering suspension:

And am awaiting a set of real coilovers from Germany that my friend ordered and is going to do some test fitting with. So that is exciting. Now I'm sitting on stock suspension, stock wheels, car looks ugly, but this spring will be back on coilovers, the RS178s, stretched and poked, something is typically frowned upon in the Volvo crowd, and I love it.
Hope you enjoyed and I will keep the thread up to date with all of the changes.
