From that pic have they cut the leaf spring in half and made a basic independent unit?
What sort of weight are you carrying when in work mode, and how hard is the ride when say at mid height.. I will be carrying a lot of weight most of the time so need to ensure that this will be man enough.

They didn't cut the leaf spring as I still have them. Plus they are made from a composite material. These ones are metal.
I carry some serious weight sometimes, all being aluminium and glass.
Wouldn't like to state exactly how much, but on usual rides with just the van and it's tools and being two up, the bags run around 4psi. The most I've had is 6 on the left hand side bags.
One of the reasons I upgraded was down to the comfort issue and at 4psi it's comfy. At 6 it's stiffer but not as stiff as say a spring under compression.
Seriously, it's worth it. And if you speak to ray at Rayvern hydraulics tell him I said hi 😏
