  • work in progress: my mercedes w209

hey guys, here are some pics of my mercedes clk550. Let me know what you guys think. Next up for me is the quad tip exhaust with a carbon fiber diffuser. And if i can find any, CF runner for my sideskirts. The last pic is what the car looks like now (i recently got a CF front lip for the car)

I'd love to see this low.

Wheels are too big for my taste, but if they were tucked behind fenders I wouldn't mind.

      Car looks great though!

def go lower. do they make coils for these cars? i remember trying to find a set for my friend but couldnt.

i feel like this car buried on a set of 18s would be money

yup koni, bilstein and kw all make coilovers for the car.

Right now tho, it is on H&R springs, im planning on picking up coilovers once all my exhaust work is all done since the exhaust work is gonna cost me $3k+.

Once i get coilovers itll be a little lower and ill push out the wheels a little so it looks more tucked. Im putting the stock wheels back on next week which are 17's, ill post pics when i put those back on too.

But the wheels i have right now are 19x8.5 ET 20 in the front and 19x10 ET25 in the rear. Im running negative 2.7 degrees camber in the rear right now because we had a rubbing issue. I actually drive the car, i do alot of runs and rally etc, so rubbing would be kinda dangerous at high speeds.
