Why is it that people on this forum these days get butt hurt so easily over someone that doesn't like the way their car looks? It's called a difference of opinion. I could give a fuck if people don't like the way my builds look. If you don't want to hear good and bad comments, then don't post pictures. No matter what you put together, you're always going to have people that like it and some that don't. Get over it.

I've built plenty of other stuff besides the 7 that people didn't care too much for. I'm not just talking to the OP, I agree that he's taking some of the comments pretty well. I've just been noticing a lot lately where people are getting very defensive over negative comments about stuff. You're right, people should build their cars the way THEY want to, but should remember that when they post pictures on a forum and not give a shit if someone doesn't like it.

I do get defensive when they say its just another flat black v8 miata...becuase there isnt any other drift v8 miata built to this extent with functional parts and that is actually used.

Sure there are some v8 race cars, but all are built for SCCA type racing, without aggro aero, low, etc etc etc.

Hence, my car is literally, one of a kind. look at it good or bad ( like or dont like obviously), but i love my car, and in the end, that is alllllll that matters. people liking it is a bonus, the guys that dont, its cool, i prolly dont like their style. its part of cars. everyone has a niche, but the work we do is what matters. the blood sweat, brolove, and tears that we put into our cars that matters. if everyone else as a car guy cant appreciate that, then you are in the wrong hobby ladies and gents.

i do like your car and the quality of the engineering and design into the motor and chasis, with that being said i think the car is ugly, but hey you build your car how you want and thats how america works

The better way to tell a Ford is distributor placement, since Chrysler's "Corporate Blue" is very close. The distributo on this one is standing straight up and down, so it's either a 351C or a 302. Considering the rarity of a good 351C (at least one worth building compared to the cost of a 302) and the size of the water pump, I'll hazard a guess at at 302.

Word. Agreed. I can't stand your style but who gives a fuck? I drift my car as well so we have that in common and I love rare jdm. I just dont think form and function are mutually exclusive. for a non-competition drift car that may hit walls I can let it slide (pun intended) but Id like to see some fitment either way

i can only go so close due to using wider tires in the rear at times when i can find them, so i cant be super flush. have to be able to tuck the tire up since normally i am lower.

getting some 195/50s today in the front so i can finally go lower

I get a HUGE fucking hardon when i look at my car. and it seems at least half a dozen people stop and see it a day with a hardon when i drive it to work, including at least three members of this forum lol

I personally don't like the car, but there are somethings about it that's cool. I wish these 4 pages was constructive criticism, but unfortunately it isn't. I wouldn't be surprised if this thread alone would detour new members and new ideas from coming here.
