    so how do you guys get the maximum build up up reflected amplified waves without a plenum? Since your not using a plenum to have the waves build before the intake valve opens do you just build these to a specific size and diameter that allows for maximum wave energy into the cylinder? Also when tuning with the stacks since they look to be one piece how many of these things do you guys create before you find the optimal lenght and diameter?

      Very good question Ginger Snap!

      Assuming that pressure outside the belmouth is atmospheric, there is an actual straight formula for calculating wavelength at any given RPM. Being that you can only tune an intake for a given RPM we tune it for peak power right before redline using this formula.

        ok cool, sounds pretty neat. Though sometimes wouldnt it be better performance wise to use the plenum than open runners? i mean i know it wont sound as nice lol. could you post the formula? quite interested
