i LOVE e34 wagons, and yours is a great looking example.
Not mine, it's my buddy Chris'. I just bought mine Sunday, I will post pics of it once my coil-overs come in, so I can put my staggered 18" ACS Type 2s on it!
Jaw hit the floor when I saw the e34 (besides the huge castro sticker in back which I understand). The engine plans sound cool but I definitely wouldn't put myself through the s38 hassle and would take a different route with the motor.

Eitherway hats off to you.
This is an e34 M5 replica wagon: bumpers, door sills, center console, dead pedal, etc. Now it will have the matching motor, trans and cluster.....plus a TARBO!
There's no real hassle, we own s14 powered e30 m3s, so we know the family of engine very well. We're currently tuning an s14 turbo M3, and out tuner has a lot of experience with S38s. The motor is amazing if set-up right!
3.6L, 24v, square cam set-up, with a pt67 ball bearing turbo and 15 psi is going to be insane! The turbo should start spooling around 2200-2300 and full boost before 3k, and pull HARD till redline. No one will expect it, and before they know it the wagon will be bus lengths away!
BTW your e38 is nucking futz! Love it sooooooooo much!!!
