  • My newest project

1984 CB650. I bought it bone stock and have been cutting, welding, and throwing parts at it for the past few months. It's still a work in progress that is no where near done, I just figured I would share some pics of it to get some feedback.

    The day I got it.

    One day later

Took me a few days to get the hard tail welded up.

A shot with the flat bars. My girl was making fun of my helmet haha

Now it sits like this with low clip-ons.

A roller that my boy took this weekend.

It would look so sick if you somehow added a few inches to the rear and have the rear wheel sit farther back. Not sure how you'd go about it though.

I agree, but I can't because it's shaft driven. I'm going to change a few things on the next one I build. The main thing being, buying an older bike that is chain driven. I only got a shaft driven CB because i got it for dirt cheap from a friend of a friend.

I bought a 70cc Honda new in 2004 and it's been collecting dust for a few years now. How do you get these things so low?

Slide the triple clamps down on the forks and then cut the forks shorter to match the drop (which i haven't gotten around to doing yet). Then in the rear you lower the bike to the height you want it and then weld in your seat stays to make it rigid tail.

Hipter? People have been building bobbers and riding like this for decades. Just because I'm young I'm a 'hipster'? That word is fuckin retarded. I have sportbikes that I wear gear and "a real helmet" on. I was riding motorcycles when you were shitting green so don't bother trying to educate me.

                              Thank for the comments guys.
