KC been doing it up for years. Im in the STL arean and in the early 90s we were going up there for the big LRM shows and the REDS comps. In 95 i had a candy purple fox body 5.0 vert with switches and 17 inch gold daytons. Only 17s anywhere at that time. I actually sold a mini truck to get the rims..they were like 4k back then.. It was right when Menace to Society just came out and everyone used to freak on that car. Car is long gone but the daytons still remain. They are going on a 64 project thats in the garage

Not gonna lie this was one of the sweetest car events I've been too. Even compared to rocking a media vest at a RallyAmerica event. It was super chill and mostly every car was built in someones garage or backyard. Lotta really good hip hop was blaring the whole time too.

I adore lowriders,
when I was in highschool
I had serious thought about buying a 70's chevy monte carlo
and static drop it on 13" or 15" wires
didn't happen though...

Nice to see that the guys from the stance scene like/care about the lowriders around the world.
Here, both groups are pretty distant from one another, although both movements are growing.

Anything that got low is good for me. That's a big trunk, you can fit 3 pumps, a battery rack and a subwoofer box.
