The mounting point really isnt that low. That is the proper area to bolt them. Its all good, thats just how the dude at Schroth told me to mount them, I explained him my setup and what I was told is what ya see lol. The Sparco's were very comfy though.

    ^^^I like your steering wheel!

That's super dangerous since the mounting point is so low. If you had those in a crash the momentum of you going forward would put a lot of pressure almost straight down on those seats, and by the looks of them I wouldn't be surprised if they were crushed. I'm not knocking your style, just adding my two cents

This is the interior of my Volkswagen

At that point I just had the S4 steering wheel, B&M short shifter, and wrapped ashtray cover. Then the suede wrapping started.

And the back occasionally looked like this when I get bored

How so? they were properly installed. The GTI has a B pillar so chance of crushing the roof isnt as bad as others as well. I know a guy who tracked an e36 m3, crushed the roof and almost snapped his neck.

Nothing has changed since the last time I posted pictures though! But I know, I know. Soon. I want to wash my car before tomorrow, so new pictures may be up sooner than later.

As far as interior pictures, I'll get a teaser picture up. It'll pretty much reveal it all though.

Here are a few of what's going on with the E36 interior. The passenger side pillar will be getting redone.
