  • My E28 - needs moar lows nao.

Picked up this a while ago as a DD, my E39 M5 is now in garage queen mode.

I really want to stance it out, but it's missing the whole front valence...but part of me says to put cut spax springs and slam it on some 16" BBS RS or style 5s and not give a crap about the front, maybe tuck front/rear bumper to compensate a bit.

Is there a cheap addon front lip from an e30 or e36 I can ghetto rig ?

    Need some help / suggestions

Sweet. Its pretty straight/clean. A new valance, some low, tucked bumpers, and bbs would be sick.

If this is going to be your DD you should treat it nicely. Don't cut the springs, get coilovers. It will love you infinitely more back.

I can resell the BBS RS, can't resell the mtech front valence which is going for $500 on ebay (I only paid $1000 for the car) nor am I willing to pay more than car's value in coilovers.

You can't resell E28 parts? You crazy!

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

            Your blast pipes look stupid.

This is the Mtech front valence I found, and it's not even OEM.

Does anyone know where I can still get SPAX springs?

i have one of those valance's.

i like it, but it's real thin and mine seems to be patched up in some places from where i bought it on ebay.

Nice, yeah I saw your thread - your car looks great. I'm actually going to get some B&Gs as they're cheaper and easier to find than spax and lowers about the same spec...

How much you pay for that valence?

thanks man. yah, the b&g's are nice and cheap but i thought they were too soft. i have never seen any spax springs for the e28. i actually run the cheap nex coilovers on it now and they are a nice ride. and they are holding up well! i paid like $250 for the valance, but that was about a half a year ago. i have no clue why they raised the price. i don't think the quality of the valance matches the price of it now.

Just picked up these BBS RZ 16x8, going to run 205/45/16 tires.

Ordering these tomorrow, will probably cut or delete bumpstops and see how much low I can get.
