Jaw dropped reading this! Seriously, when I saw the rust you had to deal with and the results, I almost refused to believe it! Amazing work!

it always makes me proud to see an old car saved like this. you've done something great here & can tell you certainly enjoy making the most out of what was originated as such a simplified car.

        total respect.

I literally love every aspect of your car (including the fact that you saved it from rotting out), except for the wheels.

I've really been getting the itch to do a beetle here recently, this isn't helping. Car looks amazing! Simple and clean always looks good.

                          Some pictures from last weekend

Now some little things to do like:

                          - Install oil pressure gauge (sender already on order)
                          - Install oil temperature gauge
                          - Replace oil lines (already bought)
                          - Fix the indicators and high beam

Had a great time @ MIVW 2 weeks ago Drove the bug for over 550km that weekend in 30+ degrees without any problems
I already have driven 4000+km's with the new engine, and it is still going strong It runs beter and beter after making more km's!
Before I went to the show i polished her and waxed her with Carnauba wax! Great stuff!
