Also, Is it safe to have the sidewall rubbing against the fender so much? I'm not slammed but I can smell burning rubber when I drive on a bumpy road for just a few seconds. Don't want a blow-out eek.
yeah it's safe. trust me. lol
usually after a while it will rub off the part that makes contact and the rubbing will go away for the most part.
burned paint on the fenders, paints rubbing off on the front fenders, cant turn full lock and drive...various scrapes and dents on my subframe, theres a bracket midway down the car that got partially yanked off from speed bumps, fucked up downpipe, broke 1 pan, broken 3 motor mounts and gone through 3 cv boots, and just ruptured my 4th, tires last approx 6 months, no one wants to align it......... i could go on
Broke the oil pan in Chicago with M Burroughs, Phil, and Mike from Fluid. No pics, but we did an all night patch job which looked like this when I got around to changing the oil pan.
And upgraded the skid plate to accomodate (1/4" steel plate over 1/8" steel bars).
Completely sturdy. Now when I feel a scrape, I can actually feel the car being lifted (being supported by the skid plate), whereas the last skid plate would just flex and hit the oil pan.
Also when scraping in Boston, I was ripping up asphalt. Take that bumpy roads!

As of right now, cracked front bumper on driver side, small dent on drivers fender, burnt/flaking paint on rear quarters, no visible tire size on sidewalls..lol.., and some good scrubbage on the bottom...lol.. More to come in the future....haha
